Ordered concrete for a shop. I had three different concrete companies come out and measure and all three said 101-103 yards of concrete unfortunately none could get to me until Tuesday the 22 and I needed it done on Saturday the 19th. I contacted Dunham price they said they could do it and match the price I had received from the other concrete companies. When we hit the 70 yard mark on the first pour we were 10 yards short wound up taking 80 to finish. I called to complain about the trucks being short and got a whole line of bs about this and that. The second pour was supposed to be 32 yards at 36 yards we were still 4 yards short I called the salesman. I was pissed off he said the same bs. He said I figured it and it's not 32 yards it's 36 I said that would be fine if the 36 would have finished but we were still 4 yards short wound up taking 40 yards. So instead of the 101-103 it took 120 yards. The trucks were coming in a yard short of concrete. I told the salesman CHUCK to cancel the trucks for the driveway and called another concrete company for 18 yards and that was how much I received. After asking around and bitching about Dunham price this has happened to several people. I talked to a former driver for dp and he said they don't clean out their trucks good and that the are usually on carry 8 yards of wet concrete.
Three concrete companies measured the slab and four different finishers all came up on the same yardage and it took 17-19 more yards. Sounds like a shortage on the trucks. I will not do business with dp in the future. Check around there are way better customer orentated companies out there.
I originally was going thru pitre for gravel he never showed up after he said he would. So i went to dunham they got me delivered with a load right away and the guys there are very helpful and professional. My delivery guy was awesome!!!
